Item Information

Kaishi tissue is a must for Japanese tea ceremonies; these tissues contain the family crests of the commanders of the Warring States period, who once cherished Japanese tea. This set contains the crests from seven families from the eastern side, including Ieyasu Tokugawa, who fought at Sekigahara in Gifu, and seven families from the western side that were lead by Mitsunari Ishida. They are made with pulp, but the pulp used is hand picked and high quality. No chemicals were used.
They are highly absorbent, and easy to use in cafes or during dinner. They are also great for use as simple dishes while you eat when standing up. Bring a taste of Japan to your gestures, as you wipe, wrap, write on, or fold them.
